Events and Fun Things to Do

The Colorado Springs area has so much to offer from outdoor activities, to Olympic sports and competitions, to family friendly events, there is always something going on in all parts of El Paso County.

Our Things to Do in Colorado Springs blog is meant to help both newcomers as well as Colorado Springs natives find fun, new, and interesting things to do around the area. We cover holidays, traditions, events and seasons and try to give you options for things to do throughout the entire year.

We are creatures of habit and so many of us tend to hold tradition close by doing the same events year after year. And while we always highlight the main events that occur around town, we also try to give you the option of attending some smaller, more local events that may not be on your radar. Did you know that Colorado Springs has a vibrant Arts community? What about music and theater? You might be very surprised at the quality of our visual and performing arts community. So instead of jumping on the interstate to head to Denver, look more local…there are some great hidden gems around Colorado Springs that may knock your socks off!
