Kings Deer is a popular community in northern El Paso County bordering the Douglas County line in the TriLakes MLS Area. With an average elevation of 7350 feet and over 1,800 acres, Kings Deer has a lot of variety; towering Ponderosa Pines, vast grassy plains, and awe-inspiring mountain views.

This neighborhood has 531 total lots averaging 2.7 acres which provide privacy in the secluded pines, or tremendous views in the open grasslands. Approximately 75% of the lots have been built on, which leaves plenty of opportunities for those looking to build.

With over 12 miles of walking and bicycling paths, fishing ponds, playgrounds and a world-class golf course, there is plenty to do outdoors.

Kings Deer is very conveniently located both for work and shopping. Denver and Colorado Springs can be reached within 45 minutes while the town of Monument is only a few minutes away.

About Kings Deer

Kings Deer is split into 2 different areas according to the HOA. Kings Deer Classic is an area with 6 different filings centered around Archers Drive and Kings Deer Point. 

Kings Deer Highlands also has 6 filings and is centered around Roller Coaster Road and County Line Road.

While most of Kings Deer is built out, there are still empty lots available for custom home building. Most of the empty lots are available in the Kings Deer Highlands area.

Schools in Kings Deer

Kings Deer is located within the D38 Lewis Palmer School District. This school district is well known and popular with Colorado Springs families looking for a quality education.

Prairie Winds Elementary School is the neighborhood elementary school and is located right in Kings Deer. Students who live in this neighborhood attend Lewis Palmer Middle School and Palmer Ridge High School

Kings Deer Golf

King's Deer Golf Club offers large open spaces, 200 acres of rolling hills, lush wetlands along with views of Pikes Peak and the Rocky Mountains from nearly every point on the golf course. The course has the look, feel and design of Scottish style links courses.

King's Deer Golf Club is a complete golf facility with exceptional practice facilities including a driving range and chipping and putting green, golf shop and club fitting. The Troon Tavern, serving breakfast daily, offers a full-service restaurant with patio, views of Pike's Peak, a new menu and daily food and drink specials. 

With facilities for events, specials on memberships and plenty of tee times, the golf club is a great amenity of this neighborhood.
