Hi! I'm Courtney Gilmore, Colorado Springs Realtor
My Favorite Client
For as long as I have been in the residential real estate industry, my market niche still seems to center around first time home buyers. The thrill of helping someone new to the game with contracts, negotiations, inspections, appraisals, etc, and the honor of handing over the keys to a wide-eyed buyer who has just made one of the most sound investments of his/her life are, quite simply, experiences beyond compare!
My Favorite Neighborhood
From Woodmen Road north to County Line Road, this area of Colorado Springs stands out for me, because these areas are typically ones where resale values are the highest and where the latest and greatest is being built both commercially and residentially. From spectacular, sprawling homesteads for growing families, to exquisite patio homes, there is always something to be found to satisfy every taste.
My Favorite Thing to Do When No One is Watching
When it comes to anything outdoors, I don't really care who's watching!!! From trips to the panhandle of Florida for beach vacations with my family, from climbing Colorado area 14ers (14,000' + elevation mountains) to playing a round of golf with my son or a group of friends on one of Colorado Springs spectacular golf courses, outside is where you will likely find me.
My Approach to Home Buying
I will always let you be in the driver's seat during the home buying process, but I will also always be sitting shotgun, right there beside you, to help you expertly steer your way through the process of purchasing a home...whether it's your first one or your thirty-first one!
My Greatest Accomplishment
Moving to Colorado from Tennessee by myself when I was only 18 to put myself through college was my greatest accomplishment....up until when my son was born! In my mind, there is no greater accomplishment, or honor, than being a mother!
After graduating college, I worked for a new home builder here in Colorado Springs for a couple of years before becoming a licensed real estate professional in the summer of 1997. With close to 20 years in real estate, helping buyers and sellers exceed their real estate goals, remains my true passion. From traditional residential sales, to investment, second home, resort, and fix and flip properties, my experience, skill, dedication, go get 'em attitude, and never say never spirit, are what help set me apart in this industry and make me one of the best Colorado Springs Realtors around. The military also holds a soft spot in my heart. With so many military installations in Colorado Springs, I became a member of the Volunteer Realtor Program at Fort Carson years ago so that I could learn the unique nuances of military transfers both in and out of state, country, and the world. Since that time, I have helped 100s of military families make these difficult moves that much easier!
In my spare time, my son takes priority. From walking the golf course with him during his school golf tournaments, from score keeping his traveling team's basketball games most weekend evenings, from getting him out on the trails with me so that he can grow up appreciating and respecting the beauty and perfection that is this great state of Colorado, my son is typically right by my side.

My Yearly Activity
The average activity for Realtors in the Pikes Peak Region is 11 real estate transactions per year. This metric is combined for both Buyers and Sellers.
My Days On Market
Days on Market indicates how long homes are on the market until they are sold. Across the Pikes Peak Region, this metric used to hover around 88 days. Recently, this number has gone down to some crazy low numbers due to the low availability of inventory and the competitive Buyer's Market. Remember, as a general rule, homes in higher price ranges will have a higher Days on Market compared to homes in lower price ranges.
Springs Homes doesn't have exclusive "Buyer's Agents" or "Listing Agents", all of our agents provide full services to their clients regardless of whether they are Buyers or Sellers.
My Activity By Neighborhood
All of the Springs Homes Agents work across the entire Pikes Peak region. Although some of our agents have their favorite neighborhood, they will always be excited to show you homes from down south in Fountain up to north in Trilakes and from out west in Woodland Park out to east Peyton.
