Things to Do in Colorado Springs this Weekend (Sept 30-Oct 1)

Are you over the cloudy weather? Well you're in luck as the sun is predicted to come out this first weekend of October! Make good use of it at these events around Colorado Springs including a Star Party for Astronomy Day, Tree Walk, Rock Fest, Hot Rods at PPIR, and Autumn Hour at Pioneers Museum. Fall Rock Fest - Sat Sept 30, 7:00pm, Stargazers Theatre & Event Center

Garden of the Gods Astronomy Day Celebration and Star Party - Sat Sept 30, 3:00pm-10:00pm, Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center

Tree Walk - Sat Sept 30, 9:00am-10:30am, Bear Creek Nature Center 245 Bear Creek Road

​Pikes Peak Hot Rod Rock & Rumble - Sept 29-Oct 1, Pikes Peak International Raceway 16650 Midway Ranch Road

Admission: $10-$15. Live music, vintage drag, and various other races will commence this weekend at Pikes Peak International Raceway. Enjoy vendors, camping, pin up and kids greaser contests, and a burlesque performance. For more info, visit: Hot Rod Rock & Rumble.

Children's History Hour: The Twelve Days of Autumn in Colorado - Sat Sept 30, 10:30am-11:30pm, Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum
