Things to Do in Colorado Springs this Weekend (Oct 28-Oct 29)

Even though Halloween isn't until Tuesday, don your costume this weekend as there are many reasons to celebrate early! From scavenger hunts, to concerts, to the annual Emma Crawford Coffin Race, Halloween is here!

Halloween History Hunt - Sat Oct 28, 10:00am-2:00pm, Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum

Admission: Free, donations welcome. Wear your costumes and go on a hunt through the exhibits, make spooky crafts, and listen to some historical stories. For more info, visit: Colorado Springs Pioneer Museum.

Halloween Science - Sat Oct 28, 1:00pm-3:00pm, Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center 201 S. Fairview St., Woodland Park

Admission: Included in museum admission ticket. Learn how science is behind the magic of disappearing ink, bubbling dry ice, color changing flowers, and more! Emma Crawford Coffin Races & Parade - Sat Oct 28, 12:00pm-4:00pm, Manitou Springs

Admission: Free. Head to Manitou Springs early to get a good seat to watch the famous coffin races run down Manitou Avenue in this Halloween tradition. Dragontown Dan Alice Cooper Tribute Broadcast - Sat Oct 28, 7:00pm-11:00pm, Stargazers Theatre & Event Center

Pumpkin Fun Fest  - Sat Oct 28, 9:00am-11:00pm, Cheyenne Mountain State Park
