COLORADO SPRINGS REAL ESTATE IS GOING STRONG SO FAR THIS YEAR.  HERE IS HOW WE DID IN JANUARY:   SINGLE FAMILY HOME SALES             – UP 6.7% OVER JANUARY 2014 AVERAGE SALES PRICE S/F HOME     – UP 11.4% OVER JANUARY 2014 CONDO/TOWNHOME SALES                  – UP 30.3% OVER JANUARY 2014 AVERAGE SALES PRICE CONDO/T.H.  – UP 2.8% OVER JANUARY 2014 TOTAL S/F HOMES FOR SALE                – DOWN 23.5% FROM JANUARY 2014 TOTAL CONDO/T.H. FOR SALE              – DOWN 15.6% FROM JANUARY 2014   IN SUMMARY…SALES ARE UP AND GOING STRONG, ESPECIALLY FOR JANUARY WHICH IS HISTORICALLY, NOT OUR BUSIEST MONTH.  PRICES ARE UP COMPARED TO LAST YEAR AT THIS TIME.  INVENTORY (meaning homes for sale) IS WAY DOWN.     SUPPLY IS DOWN.  DEMAND IS STRONG.  INTEREST RATES ARE STILL AT RECORD LOWS.   WOO HOO, I SAY!
