Southeast

Southeast Colorado Springs is close to The Colorado Springs Airport and Peterson Air Force Base. This area offers a wide range of shopping, retail and restaurants.

This area grew to support the Colorado Springs Airport and what is currently known as Peterson Air Force Base. Homes in this area are priced at the lower end of the region's median and average sales prices. There is a wide range of rental housing in this area as well. 

This area features a ton of retail, shopping and restaurants. Academy Boulevard runs through the center of this area and is home to everything from Big Box stores to small Mom and Pops shops.         

The southeast part of Colorado Springs is in two public school attendance areas, Harrison District #2 and Colorado Springs School District #11. These are both large school districts with a wide range of programs and choices.   

People live in the southeast part of Colorado Springs for a number of reasons. This area is convenient to downtown Colorado Springs and many of the areas military installations. Additionally, this area offers a wide range of amenities as well as affordable housing.

The southeast part of Colorado Sprigs is convenient and affordable. Anyone moving to the Pikes Peak region should certainly take a look at this area.
