Fountain Valley
The City of Fountain, Colorado is located just 10 miles south of Colorado Springs, Colorado. This area is close to Fort Carson and features a wide range of shopping, restaurants and more. Despite a good deal of growth and development, Fountain, maintains that small town charm and feel.
This city is named for Fountain Creek, which runs from the Ute Pass area at the base of Pikes Peak, south and east to Pueblo, where it joins up with the Arkansas River.
The City of Fountain has its own water department and wastewater department, Electricity is provided by Mountain View Electric and Natural Gas is provided by Aquila.
Fountain Valley is in the Fountain Fort Carson School District #8 attendance area. Additionally, this area is home to the Fountain Valley School, a private school.
This is a popular area for people stationed at Fort Carson, as well as people that need quick access to both Colorado Springs and Pueblo.
Fountain maintains a small town feel but is in close proximity to both Colorado Springs and Pueblo.
