We love the Pike's Peak Library District! Not only do they offer a variety of books, but locations all over town and programs for people of all ages. We love that we can pick up books at one place and drop them at another depending on location... so convenient. There are at least 15 branches of the Pike's Peak Library from Ute Pass to Falcon and Monument to Fountain! Plus mobile library is available. Find and renew books on-line, use computers and more!

In a time when our lives are overrun by electronic media, checking out books and reading is a lost "art". Especially when we are headed on a road trip, we enjoy checking out tons of books so we can have imaginary adventures while we're on the road. The library has TONS of programs, particularly for the kids and at the east branch during the summer. There's reading, crafts, etc... ending with a huge carnival & celebration to reward kids for their reading!
