Black Forest-Just minutes from the north end of Colorado Springs is the Black Forest, a combination of dense pine forest and wide open rolling pine stubbled prairie. Certain parts of Black Forest offer stunning views of "Pikes Peak" and the Front Range. Homesites average 5 acres, restrictions are very light to non-existent and horses are OK with the exception of a few exclusive subdivisions. The numbers are in for April. Black Forest maintains a 10% Absorption Rate, This puts the area 15th out of the 19 we track. The good news is the rate is holding steady not slipping, as we head into our busy buying season.
